Who is Penny Brave? The ultimate fresh, new, up and coming clothing brand by one of my dearest friends Ariel Hernandez. Penny Brave, based out of Orlando, Fl, is a company that believes in chasing after your dreams, working hard for what you have, and striving for excellence. I admire the passion and dedication penny brave represents. A quote from founder Ariel goes as such, "Never loose sight and chase what you love." Simple as that. If you keep that in mind, you're already a success. Penny Brave has already begun changing lives and motivating people to achieve they're goals. It has made a huge impact in the bboy community, locally and global, in such a short amount of time that I can only imagine what the future holds. Places like California, Europe, US, and Canada (just to name a few) have not only shown their love and support, but have taken the meaning of the brand wholeheartedly and have done a great job to represent it respectfully. Penny Brave believes that by making every penny count, you can concur all that you want to in life. Ariel's upbringing was not always easy, but he developed a hard work ethic at a very young age and decided that in order to make his dreams come to life, he needed to work hard and stay BRAVE! And so that's what he did...

Serenity Now

So I've been out of touch for a couple weeks but yesterday I decided to step outside and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. I took a walk around my beautiful, green neighborhood in my vintage baseball tee and black theory leggings. I'm not into always dressing up. I love to feel comfortable and cute at the same time. It's been a while since I've gone outside and yesterday the weather was just perfect. As the smell of the afternoon showers hit my senses, I decided not to care whether it rained or not. It was just.... Right. I hope my readers gather some inspiration from my simple living and learn ( just like I'm learning) to see beauty in the littlest of things. :-) have a happy Memorial Day weekend!

Florals on Tuesday

Loved taking the day off of daily responsibilities and enjoying it with my Guy. The weather was beautiful and very very hot so I decided to wear my Joe's jeans "boyfriends" with a little cobalt blue and a little floral. I've been trying to play with colors and get out of my usual earth tone comfort zone, but i have to admit that I can't shy away from my denim jeans. Jeans to me are essential and always necessary in your wardrobe!

We ate lunch at a local spot in town called "graffiti Junktion" (incredible burgers) and caught "The Great Gatsby" which left me breathless. Between the costume design, cinematography and Leonardo DiCaprio I could have watched the movie for hours and hours! It was my favorite book in High School and I have always wondered how it would look on screen and to me, the movie was beautifully made and did the book justice.

Anyway, look through some pictures we took of yesterday and of what I wore :-) I am learning to love the imprint "still" photos leave, so thanks to my lovely guy, we try to take pictures everyday so that we are reminded of the beauty life brings when times get a little hard... Enjoy!
